Clothed in classic steel and blue tones, this men’s Tudor Royal watch promises a very compact case size of 38mm and comes integrated with 100-meter water resistance. The model can be instantly recognised for its notched bezel with grooved finishes in a mix of satin-brushed and polished finishes. In addition to this, the watch, with its Tudor emblem-engraved screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, is also characterised by its integrated five-line steel bracelet. The metal band boasts internal and central links in a satin-brushed effect, together with polished intermediate links to create a sophisticated finish on the wrist. This luxury steel watch boasts a chic-sport look with a classic blue dial and traditional Roman numerals representing the hour track. The date aperture located at 3 o’clock makes the Tudor Royal watch an ideal companion for the office. The watch is powered by the Calibre T601 which provides a power reserve of 38 hours once off the wrist.

I’ve had this black dial GMT-Master II homage for over a month now, and it’s become my go-to daily watch. The design is sleek and minimalist compared to the more colorful Pepsi or Batman versions — which makes it perfect for both work and casual wear. The black ceramic bezel has a subtle shine that catches the light just right, and the dial is deep and rich with perfectly aligned markers. The second time zone feature works as expected, and the independent hand is easy to set. The movement has been consistent, gaining around 8 seconds a day, which is well within what I’d expect from a mechanical. For the price, the build quality and finish are phenomenal. It’s hard to believe it’s not the real thing at a glance.
